To the Syracuse Public Library to try to complete some of my previous work. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Next- I looked for and found a Lathrop Genealogy - from "Lathrop Family Memoirs" by Huntington R919.2L34. I copied only parts of it. There was a section on the English Ancestry and on Reverend John Lothrop but it was just too much to copy. . . . . . . . . . .

In reading further I found that Samuel Lothrope, 7th child of Rev. John Lothrop "m. Elizabeth Scudder" and they had 9 children the 4th being "Martha, b. Jan. 1657 and m. 1677, John, son of John Moss, the immigrant of this name, at New Haven and who became so prominent in the new town of Wallingford. The son died March 31, 1717 and she Sept. 21, 1719.
