The Knott Family
Nott, (Knott) John, probably in Wethersfield, Conn. in 1636: was a juror, 1646; townsman, 1658; surveyor, 1659; dep 1662-3/ rep to General Court for 19 sessions from 1665; on commission to settle west line of Wethersfield, 1670; drew land in 1670 allotment; was a joiner by trade; cattle ear-mark recorded W.T.V.I, p. 5; he d. 25 Jan., 1681-2, leaving widow Ann, and 3 children; inventory £533-15-10; will dated 10 Feb. 1679.
